Golf is actually being in Viet Nam since 1922 with the first nine holes in Dalat (Dalat Palace Golf Club now a day) to serve the last King of Vietnam - His excellence Bao Dai.
However, up to 1975 there is only the 9 holes golf course in Tan Son Nhat airport, Sai gon (Ho Chi Minh City now) was in operation.
Despite the quite during 1993 - 2000 of only 06 golf courses and less than 1.000 Vietnamese golfers, now a day golf is booming in both North and South Vietnam with over 22 A+ golf courses and over 10.000 Vietnamese golfers.
